Sky is clear & Kili is in perfect view - Monday 4th. Elevation 3600m
Up early again and sky is clear Kili is in perfect view this morning, blue sky and white snow make for perfect pictures. But this is short lived as the clouds are sucked around the mountain again.
I am still not getting used to the sleeping conditions or chocolate flavoured porridge for breakfast, but I just have to get on with it.
Today we have a fairly level day heading over to the sister peak of Kilimanjaro, Mawenzi. Some clear views of what is obviously a more challenging climb, not on my agenda.
I realize at this point that communication from the mountain is going to be a challenge, not only reception but there is nowhere to keep stuff charged.
The Porters as usual race past us during the day and set up camp, my little tent is looking quite luxurious against the one larger tent that accommodates the rest of the team.
